Farewell Mosaic

Farewell Mosaic is a tribute to the Merlion Walk at Sentosa, known for its iconic mosaic patterns that bore a resemblance to Antoni Gaudi’s work in Barcelona's Park Güell, a detail that the illustrator, Jolene, was inspired by. Despite holding fond memories for many Singaporeans, the Walk was sadly demolished in 2019. 

About Illustrator

Jolene Tan is currently the animation lead of O+ at OGS, which has earned a Motionographer award among others. She mostly spends her free time collaborating with local musicians, illustrating different sceneries and having a good nap.
